My journey began with a simple but powerful belief: Every person deserves safety, dignity, fairness, and a voice — regardless of who they are or where they come from.

I founded SUS SHIELD to help protect, educate, and empower Somali-speaking communities worldwide in an increasingly connected digital world.

What began as a commitment to community protection has developed into a digital safety initiative focused on online harassment, cyberbullying, blackmail, privacy violations, digital rights, responsible reporting, and Community Guidelines education.

My work is guided by one principle: Protection must never depend on clan, friendship, popularity, personal relationships, or differences of opinion.

I believe technology should bring people together, not divide them. Through SUS SHIELD, I am committed to promoting digital awareness, supporting those facing online harm, encouraging fair treatment, and helping individuals understand their rights and responsibilities.

My vision extends beyond one platform or one country. It is about building a safer, more informed, and more united digital community for Somali-speaking people around the world.

I did not create SUS SHIELD to stand above my community. I created it to stand beside my community.
